Many of our program activities take place place at the Scandinavian Centre in Burnaby. The Sweden Room, with the Swedish library, is the venue for our membership meetings.

In the Swedish school, also located at the Centre, children meet once a week for lessons in the Swedish language. They learn about their heritage and celebrate Swedish traditions. Once a year we host a family camp at Evans Lake in Squamish (Friday-Sunday), where both parents and children get together for a wonderful outdoor experience.

Volunteering is the glue that holds our community together. But its not only work.. You will meet lot of interesting people in a stimulating and rewarding environment. Our whole organization is based on volunteers, from fixing the centre to making ginger bread houses!

Swedish Language classes, for different levels, at different levels, are available, meeting once a week at the Sweden Room.
